The Mangrove
Acrylic And Scrap Papers And Food Wrappers (From Bangkok) With Leaf Printing On Canvas • 60 × 80 ซม. • 2026
"I Am Painting The Mangrove From Borneo Where I Come From. Thailand Also Has Mangrove. This Is Something We Have In Common. I Collected Leaves From Poh Chang Academy To Imprint Poh Chang On My Art. At The Same Time, I Collected Food Wrappers And Packaging From Bangkok Snacks And Products To Be Used As Collage On The Bottom. It Represents Seaweed And The Plants Of The Sea. I Also Want To Show The Audience That Trash Can Be Turned Into Art Or Something Purposeful, The Concept Of Repurposing. At The Same Time, Using Trash Can Show That We Have Many Trash In The Sea And We Need To Do Something About It. Thailand, Malaysia Or The World, We Have The Same Problem And We Need To Come Together To Conserve The Environment. |"
