I' M Fly
3D Printer & Epoxy Sculpture • 30 × 30 × 60 ซม. • 2026
"This Contemporary Sculpture Explores Modern Sculptural Processes By Combining Digital And Manual Techniques. The Work Begins With A Prototype Created Through 3D Printing Technology, Which Reflects The Precision And Innovation Of Contemporary Art Practices. The Surface Is Then Redefined By Hand-Sculpting With Clay, Deliberately Leaving Visible Fingerprints And Handmarks As An Expressive Trace Of The Artist’S Touch. The Final Form Is Cast In Epoxy Resin And Painted In Clay-Like Earthy Tones. The Sculpture Takes The Form Of A Female Figure With Wings, Inspired By The Thai Mythical Creature “Kinnaree” From Classical Literature. However, The Wings Are Reimagined As Butterfly Wings, Symbolizing Transformation, Freedom, And Blending With Universal Fairy Tale Aesthetics. This Fusion Of Thai Cultural Elements And Global Mythological Influences Creates A Unique Visual Language Rooted In Both Tradition And Contemporary Imagination. The Artwork Is Titled “I’M Fly”, A Play On Words That Carries Dual Meanings: Literally, “I Am Flying” Or “I Can Fly,” And Phonetically Echoing “I’M Fine”, Expressing The Artist’S Emotional Well-Being And Creative Liberation Through The Act Of Sculpting. |"
